In January 2019, a cooperation agreement for establishing a station was officially signed with Academician Tang Guangfu, Vice President of the Global Energy Internet Research Institute. Tang Guangfu, male, born in 1966, from Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. Vice President of the State Grid Global Energy Internet Research Institute, elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering on November 27, 2017, Director of the "National Key Laboratory of Advanced Transmission Technology", professor-level senior engineer, doctoral supervisor, national "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" leading talent in scientific and technological innovation, national-level candidate of the New Century Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project, recipient of the State Council special government allowance, and winner of the 9th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award (Youth Award) of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
In May 2019, after approval and review by the Chongren County Association for Science and Technology Technical Society and formal approval by the Organization Department of the CPC Fuzhou Municipal Committee, the Academician Workstation of Jiangxi Gandian Electric Co., Ltd. was officially established.
