Chongren's integration of informatization and industrialization promotes the transformation and upgrading of the substation equipment industry

Recently, the Chongren Industrial Park was recognized as a provincial-level demonstration park for deep integration of industrialization and informatization. Enterprises in the park, including Beidou Substation, Yifa Power, Gandian Electric, and Xin'erli Power, were awarded as provincial-level demonstration enterprises for deep integration of industrialization and informatization. To date, the county has eight provincial-level demonstration enterprises for this integration, which has strongly promoted the transformation and upgrading of the substation equipment industry from "clustered development" to "intelligent manufacturing."
The Chongren substation equipment industry has successfully been recognized as one of the 20 provincial industrial demonstration clusters, the only national new industrialization industry demonstration base in the city, and one of the third batch of 38 national industrial cluster regional brand construction pilot projects. In recent years, the county has established a leadership group for the integration of industrialization and informatization, successively issuing a series of related policy measures such as the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Integration of Industrialization and Informatization," "Several Opinions on Supporting the Acceleration of Integration Work in Chongren Industrial Park," and the "2018-2020 Work Plan for the Construction of the Chongren Industrial Park Integration Demonstration Zone." Each year, fiscal funds for technological transformation and informatization construction account for 5% of total fiscal expenditure, and industrial enterprises have invested a total of 100 million yuan in informatization construction over the past three years. Meanwhile, the park and enterprises jointly invested 300 million yuan to build the Beidou Intelligent Manufacturing Information Platform and Public Data Center, establishing a nationwide industry-level perception data collection system, laying the foundation for forming an industrial internet cloud platform and big data base for the substation equipment industry.
Building a high-level intelligent manufacturing industry ecosystem, shifting from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing." Jiangxi Substation has cooperated with multiple universities, and its tailor-made intelligent industrialization construction project has become one of the most advanced substation equipment production lines in the country; Yifa Power focuses on the intelligent power transmission and transformation industry, automation control systems, and the integration of "Internet+" big data, forming a complete industrial chain of intelligent power transmission and transformation products, and will become the city's largest intelligent power grid terminal R&D, production, and testing base; Mingyuan Electric will introduce the world's most advanced equipment and technology, and within two years after completion, it will become the province's largest dry-type transformer production and R&D base, and within five years, it aims to become the country's largest new energy dry-type transformer base. Currently, 40% of the county's large-scale pillar enterprises use computer-aided design and computer-aided process technologies in their R&D and design processes, and 35% use enterprise resource planning systems.
Strengthening platform brand building. Relying on the national new industrialization industry demonstration base, on one hand, the government actively leads the improvement of platform construction, successfully creating a provincial-level export substation equipment quality and safety demonstration zone, hosting two Central China Substation Equipment Industry Summit Forums. Meanwhile, the Jiangxi Substation Equipment Industry Association, Jiangxi Substation Equipment Industry Museum, and Substation Equipment Industry Material Warehousing and Distribution Center have officially started operations. The creation of a nationally recognized brand demonstration zone for medium and low voltage substation equipment and the construction of a provincial-level quality supervision and inspection center for medium and low voltage power transmission and transformation equipment are progressing in an orderly manner. On the other hand, the county actively leverages platforms such as the Beidou Substation Big Data Center and Jiangxi Substation Equipment Research Institute to promote the integration of big data and the substation equipment industry, and actively guides enterprises to establish R&D institutions such as technology research centers, postdoctoral workstations, and academician workstations. The county now has 31 national high-tech enterprises and 4 engineering technology research centers. On March 28, the provincial government approved renaming Chongren Industrial Park to Jiangxi Chongren High-tech Industrial Park. To enhance platform brand building, the county also launched the design of the national new industrialization industry demonstration base logo and registered trademarks, expanding the influence of the industrial base, cultivating 2 China well-known trademarks and 8 Jiangxi famous trademarks. Currently, the county's substation equipment products hold over 80% market share in the province, rank third nationally in market coverage among peers, and export products to Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Overseas market projects have cumulatively signed contracts exceeding 100 million USD, covering more than 10 countries including Russia, India, Nepal, Thailand, and Zambia.
The county also actively uses the latest 5G technology to drive industrial development, making the substation equipment industry a drafter and leader of industry standards. Currently, two enterprises in the county are members of the substation equipment product standard drafting committee, participating in the formulation of multiple national and industry standards. The Beidou Substation Big Data Center is the county's first academician workstation. By installing self-developed intelligent chips on smart terminals to form smart terminal boxes, it can automatically identify and monitor in real time the operating conditions such as temperature, humidity, and noise inside transformers. The backend big data center accurately analyzes and judges problems occurring during equipment operation and proposes solutions, greatly reducing the operation and maintenance costs of substation equipment. Additionally, this product can be applied in hydrological monitoring, forest fire prevention, pest control, anti-theft logging, and forest growth monitoring. Currently, Beidou Substation is applying for the national major science and technology project demonstration pilot of the "new generation broadband wireless mobile communication network."
