Jiangxi Province Substation Equipment Industry Association Established, Filling a Gap in the Field

The inaugural meeting of the Jiangxi Substation Equipment Industry Association was held on the afternoon of the 21st in Chongren, Jiangxi. The establishment of this industry association fills a gap in the substation equipment industry in Jiangxi, playing a very important role in regulating the order of the substation equipment industry in Jiangxi and guiding the healthy and orderly development of the substation equipment industry.
The substation equipment industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Chongren. Since the founding of "Chongren Electric Machine Factory" in 1968, it has nearly half a century of development history. Especially in recent years, Chongren has closely focused on the industrial development strategy of "industrial focus on substation equipment," based on the goals of "scale, specialization, branding, and technological advancement," making every effort to promote the development and upgrading of the substation equipment industry, with continuously increasing industrial agglomeration.
It is reported that from January to August 2016, substation equipment enterprises in the Chongren Industrial Park achieved main business revenue of 6.93 billion yuan, completed industrial added value of 1.656 billion yuan, and realized tax revenue of 208 million yuan. Led by enterprises such as Jiangbian, Mingzheng, Gandian, Yapo, and Yifa, a certain agglomeration and fission effect has been generated, producing more than 2,000 specifications across 35 major series of substation equipment products. Low and medium voltage transformers account for more than 80% of the Jiangxi market share, ranking third nationwide in market coverage among peers, with product sales throughout the country and exports to Asia, Africa, Europe, and other countries.
